It hasn't changed that much Beorn But a tip, I've personally switched from photoshop to affinity photo. It's similar to photoshop, but it is way cheaper and you don't have to pay a monthly fee as you have to with newer photoshop editions.
The E3 thread has been updated to include VODs of Exhibit Day 3 aswell as GameSpot and IGN's winner of E3! With that the E3 thread, and E3 as a whole, comes to a close! Who's your winner of E3? Let us know!
Andromeda released with to many bugs, character animations are poor same as the voiceovers that in my eyes is very important to a succesful RPG. So that is why I think it was not one of their best games they released Kida
I've taken backup of the Minecraft server, message me if you're interested in a copy. The server will be up until midnight tonight, but I'll not make another backup, which means everything you build now until tonight will not be saved
What’s the difference between The Daemon Army & Alpha Revolver? Alpha Revolver is a community for any type of gamer. The community is here for those who like to play as part of a team or alone, as part of a clan or guild or just a small group of friends. The community aims to entertain and be a source of discussion. We have forums for people to just talk about anything within reason and a big part of that is of course games. People who have some sort of skills can get together and form projects. You can check out or take part in our YouTube channel and even play on the servers we provide. You are not required to be a part of The Daemon Army or any other clan or guild for that matter to be a part of Alpha Revolver. We expect all members to uphold a good reputation of Alpha Revolver both on the website and in games or projects the community takes part in.
The Daemon Army on the other hand is the official clan or guild of Alpha Revolver and of course you are welcome to join. We do request that you don't create or register The Daemon Army in any games yourself and instead make a public request on the forums. We expect all members to uphold the good reputation of The Daemon Army in any games we play, or plan to play, whether or not you play casually or competitively and alone or with a group of friends.
The Past The Dark Army was the first name our guild had when it was first formed back in 2005 on a game called Freelancer. The Dark Army was originally a small hardcore clan that focussed on friendship and skill. It never was, and never will be, about having the most members.
As time went on, The Dark Army moved to Counter Strike Source and eventually to the Playstation 3. This time around, The Dark Army was bigger and focussed on competing in Gamebattles and similar gaming leagues. The first major tournament TDA took part in was the official Metal Gear Online Tournament. Unfortunately, one of our members couldn't make it and as a result we lost our first match, which had the format of single match elimination.
As we returned to PC, we formed a gaming community called Alpha Revolver.
The Dark Army went through a change when we returned to PC and so began our Guild Wars 2 Guild. We couldn't use the name The Dark Army, and we all personally felt it needed a change. So we settled on The Daemon Army.
The Present As our community has gotten bigger over time, we no longer have one leader for the entirety of The Daemon Army. We have different leaders, for different games. Leaders have to prove themselves competent and dedicated in order to lead, or have a leadership role within, The Daemon Army. Our Guild Wars 2 guild is ever growing and we always have room for new people. Have an idea for a game we should check out? Great! Let us know on the forums.
The Daemon Army is going through a stage of looking to expand into more games, while as Alpha Revolver we're looking to expand the community as a whole. We have multiple events a week, which you can check out on our events tab. If you fancy starting your own event, we also support that, just arrange to discuss it at the next meeting, or request it via the forums, and we will let you know our thoughts. Being an active, and trusted, member of the community will greatly improve your chances at starting up an event of your own.
The Future Looking forward, we want to expand The Daemon Army into more games and become a recognized guild. We hope to encourage casual family friendly play as well as hardcore competitive play. We plan to open up game servers again in the future and we are always looking for Leaders & Admins to help us run it.
We hope to expand Alpha Revolver as well, opening up our community for more talented, like minded, people to form projects together under the Alpha Revolver banner. At current we have an Indie Games Company that is in partnership with Alpha Revolver, called Alpha Revolver Games. You can find out about the project here. In the future we hope to expand our community into as many branches connected to gaming as possible, from reviewing games, to guides, to video series on YouTube, and possibly other social media platforms.
What can we offer you? We have so many friendly, talented, community members who are always willing to give people a hand when needed. We have numerous events for different games. We plan to open up more servers for your enjoyment in the future. We hope to entertain you on the forums, on our Youtube channel, and as many other possible platform in the future as we can. We also want to encourage you to check out or even take part in some of our projects. Our community is not build by one person, it is build by everyone, together, and you could be a part of this.
We have room for casual and hardcore players. All we expect in return is that you are friendly and respective to other members, and abide by our rules in any place you represent The Daemon Army and/or Alpha Revolver as a whole. Our rules, which are outlined here, are what we view as the minimum norm for a gaming community and/or guild.
